"buy unique, buy handmade" twickenham craft fairs we offer an affordable place for crafters to promote, display and sell their items, whilst still maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all. if you love handmade, you'll love our fairs... how did it all start? after having difficulty finding affordable craft fairs in my local area at the beginning of 2014, i decided to start organising one myself. i love handmade items and wanted to give myself and other local crafters somewhere to sell, promote and display their items for an affordable price... as crafters/artists rarely receive the recognition they deserve for all the hours of hard work they put in. about our craft fairs - our fairs run from april till december, approximately every 4 weeks and are always on a saturday between 1.30pm - 5pm, held at: st mary's church hall, (opposite st mary's church) church street, twickenham, middlesex. tw1-3nj how to find us - we are approximately 10 minutes walk from twickenham railway station and between 5-8 minutes walk from bus routes h22, 281, 267, r68, 110, 490 and r70. we are situated at the end of church street, twickenham. this is a beautiful location filled with local, independent businesses with a real community spirit. we are close to twickenham riverside and the church hall itself is directly opposite st mary's church. stallholders needed for pamper evenings in 2018 - run by claire g jewellery claire g jewellery is looking for specific people only please, so if you can offer any of these services please e-mail on: [email protected] types of treatment providers needed for this event: (there is a maximum of 7 treatment providers per event.)... *indian head massage *eyebrow threading/shaping *facials - cleansing, toning or moisturising treatments (treatment only, not for selling the items used.) *aromatherapy massage (for hands, feet, arms or lower leg only) *general masseuse (to provide relaxation to hands, feet, head and/or neck only.) *pedicures *reflexology *make up/adult face or body painting *henna (no spiritual/religious/holistic treatments) all treatments would need to be: affordable (preferably around £10-£20 per treatment) not last in excess of 40 minutes per person per treatment during any treatments the customer must remain fully clothed, as they will be taking place amongst other stallholders/customers and we want to respect privacy. carried out by a qualified masseuse with the correct accreditations and public liability insurance. stalls for this event are just £10, including being given 3 free tickets to sell on or give to customers/friends to increase footfall. . stall fee by paypal only. please send the following information if looking to apply: 1. your full name 2. your e-mail address (if different from the one you are using) 3. a detailed description of what service you would be able to provide and a rough estimate as to how long each treatment would take and cost. (this is for promotion/customer info if you get a stall space.) 4. confirm you have a paypal account or authorised/permitted access to a family member's account. 5. confirm that you live within 10 miles of tw1 (if you are unsure, please just state the area you live in) 6. the link to your facebook business page, website, or another social media account that shows your business/what you provide. a 5ft-6ft table and 2-3 chairs are provided per stallholder (or equivalent floor space if you want to bring a massage chair or equipment instead.) please note: claire g jewellery can not accept "representatives" selling items like forever living, neal's yard, avon etc, but if carrying out facials, these items can be used. also they can not accept spiritual/holistic/religious treatments and only need the type of treatment provider listed above, many thanks... how to find the entrance to the hall - we always (weather permitting) put up large vinyl posters directly outside the hall entrance on the morning of our fairs to make it easier to find us. at the end of church street, opposite st marys church, right near twickenham riverside, you can't miss us :-) access for all - st mary's church hall is perfect for our craft fairs, it is spacious, with wood flooring, high ceilings and a lot of natural light, which is welcoming and bright. the entire fair is on one level, with no staircases or steps and we will always endevour to allow plenty of space between stalls for ease of access for both customer and crafter alike. we will always allow access for wheelchair and pushchair users at our fairs, as it is important that everyone has an equal chance of looking around, no matter what their circumstance. we normally have 16-18 stalls at every event, but can comfortably cater for up to 19 stalls + refreshments stand. why is it important to buy handmade?
